What is CDA?

The Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is a national entry level child care credentialing program.  It is the most widely recognized program in early childhood education and is issued by the Council for Professional Recognition.

There are many benefits to earning a CDA credential.  It allows you to work with children ages birth through five, ensures that you are given the proper tools and skills to become a qualified early educator, advances your career, meets job requirements, teaches you about developmentally apprpriate practices, and boosts your confidence.
