Writing Initiative Faculty Events
Durng each academic year, the Title V Writing Inititiative presents or sponsors professional development opportunities for PCCC instructors.
Our Faculty Institutes are opportunities for the Writing Initiative team to meet with faculty who are preparing to teach a writing-intensive course.
The initial Faculty Institute was held for 4 days in June 2008. In 2009, based on feedback from that first Institute, we began to offer the sessions in two parts during the January break and in May or June.

June 2008 (4 days) For courses being piloted Fall 2008
January 2009 (2 days) and May 2009 (2 days) For courses being piloted Spring or Fall 2009.
August 2009 and January 2010 (4 days total) For courses being piloted Spring or Fall 2010)
