Information Literacy

Information Literacy at PCCC is defined as the ability to identify, research, access, evaluate, and use information sources in various formats, with an emphasis on those methods and sources appropriate for college-level corsework.

Over two weeks' class time, College Experience students will learn about the layout of the Library, become familiar with the Library's online resources, and complete a written Exercise.  The College Experience students will then be prepared to complete the Information Literacy Research Project that counts for 1/3 of their final grade.
