Making an Appointment - Writing Intensive Students

Students registered for Writing Intensive courses (courses designated IW in the section #) may schedule appointments with the PCCC Writing center staff online.

To guarantee that a tutor is available and avoid waiting, you should make an appointment.

You will first need to register for an account.  For information or help with registration, contact the Writing Center.

Once you have an account, you can login and select the day and time you want your appointment.

Making an Appointment

To make an appointment, click on a white square that matches the day and time desired.  An appointment form will appear.  Fill out the form with the start and end time of the appointment (up to one hour), course, professor, and what you want to work on.  Then click "Save Changes," and the appointment will be made.  You will receive an email confirmation to the email address you provided.

Canceling an Appointment

Appointment cancelations must be made 24 hours in advance.  To cancel your appointment, login and click on the appointment you wish to cancel.  When the appointment form opens, check the box labeled "Delete this Reservation?" at the bottom of the screen. Then click "Save Changes."  Your appointment will be removed from the schedule.

Making an Appointment--CWE Students

Students who want help preparing for the College Writing Exam (CWE) can make an appointment by emailing the Writing Center.

Though we recommend making an appointment to make the best use of your time, walk-in sessions will be done when tutors are available.  To guarantee that a tutor is available and avoid waiting, you should make an appointment at least one day in advance.

Any student who wants to review their failed exam with a tutor  must make an appointment as the Writing Center will need at least 24 hours to obtain a copy of your exam.
